When creating a new product, you have the option to choose an existing cloud or set up a new one. In this flow, there are two types of update options when installing the agent using Kubernetes: Automatic Update and Manual Update. To configure a cloud using Kubernetes, follow these steps:
- Choose the "Custom" option as the cloud provider.
- After selecting "Custom," click on the "Validate Cloud and configure Environment" button.
To configure a custom environment, follow these steps:
- Assign a name to the environment in the designated field.
- Assign a TAG according to your preference.
- Finally, validate the environment and install the agent by clicking the "Validate environment and install agent" button.
After configuring a Custom Agent Environment, choose one of the two update options (Automatic Update or Manual Update). Once you have selected the desired option, a box will appear containing the Yaml configuration provided by the platform.
Follow these steps to install the agent through Kubernetes:
- Copy the Yaml configuration from the box.
- Deploy the copied Yaml on Kubernetes.
- The agent will be installed and configured based on the Yaml specifications.
Once the installation is completed, you can continue with the configuration of monitoring for your environment.
